First Look | Flat Iron Square

Though I only popped my head in briefly last week, I was extremely impressed with the exciting new Flat Iron Square development in Southwark. Spread over seven railway arches and Grade II listed building Devonshire House, Flat Iron Square is home to seven food vendors, three restaurants, three street food trucks, five bars and a live music and entertainment venue called Omeara (from Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons). There will also be an array of interesting workshops in Tinct, and a weekly flea market (every Sunday from 10am-5pm). It’s not yet in full swing, but they’ve created a beautiful space full of cosy corners and atmospheric lighting that is certain to be a huge success. I’ll be back soon for all the food and drink – for now here are a few pictures from a quick lap we took during the soft opening.
